Register Now! First-Time Supervisor Workshop
The MASFAA Professional Development & Training (PDT) Committee is excited to announce that registration is now open for our First-Time Supervisor Workshop, taking place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Endicott College in Beverly, MA.
This interactive, full-day workshop is designed specifically for financial aid professionals who are new to supervision or have recently stepped into leadership roles. The transition from individual contributor to supervisor can be both exciting and challenging, and this program is designed to provide practical tools, self-awareness, and a network of peers to support that journey.
Participants will explore topics such as:
• Communication and feedback
• Delegation and accountability
• Conflict management and difficult conversations
• Leadership styles and self-awareness
• Building effective working relationships
As part of the experience, attendees will complete a DISC behavioral assessment prior to the workshop and use the results throughout the day to better understand their leadership approach and interactions with others.
