MASFAA’s 2025-2026 Leadership Academy – Apply Now!

Are you a leader in the financial aid community or are you looking to become one? The Professional Development & Training Committee is pleased to announce the return of the MASFAA Leadership Academy (MLA) for the 2025-2026 academic year! We are seeking applicants for the fourth cohort of our revamped and refreshed program that debuted in 2022.

MASFAA Leadership Academy provides leadership training and support to help members of the MASFAA community reach the next level of success in their financial aid career. If you are looking for an opportunity to learn something new, network, and become more involved in MASFAA, MLA may be right for you! We are seeking MASFAA community members who are looking for avenues for personal and professional development and who show great potential for advancement in the field of Financial Aid. There is no restriction on the member’s time working in aid. However, staff new to the aid profession are encouraged to attend Just the Facts initially. Members of this year’s Leadership Academy will be selected by the MASFAA Professional Development & Training Committee.

Leadership Academy will be a one-year commitment from October 2025 to June 2026. New to the program this year, members of Leadership Academy will serve as the Early Awareness & Outreach Committee and help put on a successful Carnival of Learning! More information, including session dates and times, can be found on the attached overview. Please only apply if you will be able to attend the session dates noted on the overview. Interested MASFAA members should complete and return the attached application form by October 15th.
