Professional Development and Training
To access the recordings of this year’s tax trainings, follow the links below in the Members Only Resources area. These links bring you to a registration site, where you’ll register to view the relevant video. You’ll need to register separately for each video you want to view. Once you’ve registered, you’ll received a confirmation of your registration, followed by a second email with a direct link to the video. The second link usually arrives within minutes but can sometimes take a few hours. You will need to register for the videos even if you registered for the live webinars, but only have to register once per video.
General
The MASFAA PD&T Committee is responsible for the training needs of MASFAA. Our members create content for all levels of professional development and find dynamic presenters for programs. We can also help MASFAA members get involved in committees as a way to assist in their professional development and support of MASFAA.
The PD&T Committee plans workshops as needed by the MASFAA community. The overall goal of our committee is to be responsive to the training needs of our colleagues. PD&T will work closely with other committees to maximize training opportunities and minimize expenses for the upcoming year. Regular events and series include Just the FACTS!, MASFAA Leadership Academy, annual tax workshops, and support staff and management workshops.
Please be aware that you must be a MASFAA member in order to participate in PD&T sponsored events. We encourage you to establish/renew your membership at masfaa.org/membership/#myaccount.
Composition
The Committee is composed of two appointed Co-Chairpersons as well as volunteer committee members.
