The Access, Inclusion, and Diversity Committee for Financial Aid Professionals is dedicated to advancing equity and access for historically marginalized communities, including people of color (POC), LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with disabilities. We are committed to supporting these groups through tailored financial aid resources and guidance, promoting inclusive practices and awareness within our field, engaging financial aid professionals in meaningful conversations about diversity and accessibility, empowering individuals to navigate financial challenges with confidence, and educating our community on the critical importance of representation in financial aid services.
By fostering collaboration and sharing best practices, we aim to equip financial aid professionals with the tools and knowledge needed to better serve all students, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their educational aspirations in an inclusive and supportive environment. Together, we strive to create a transformative impact that uplifts diverse voices and promotes equitable access to financial resources for all.
The Committee is comprised of one or two appointed chairpersons as well as a number of volunteer committee members. Designated AID members serve as active liaisons to and involved members of the Professional Development and Training, Conference, Communication, and other committees.
