    Description: Conventional budgeting advice tells us to cut the small luxuries in life, but does that actually have the greatest impact on our financial health? And if not, what should we be telling students instead? Learn concrete ways to implement money mindfulness in a virtual setting to walk students through three critical aspects of their financial lives and help them shape a budget that is both aligned with their priorities and crafted to create real change.

    Dr. Emily Schwartz is a former teacher and university professor who now writes and facilitates financial education workshops for the students and staff of Arizona State University as well as the surrounding community. She began her career in Southern California and is currently living in Tempe, AZ with degrees from both ASU and USC.
