Assistant Director of Student Financial Services
Two positions – One regular Full-time position, One Full time, 2-Year Term Appointment
The Assistant Director(s) will serve as a primary point of contact and provide financial counseling services for both current and prospective students and their parents; analyze financial aid applications based on both federal and institutional needs analysis; make professional financial aid decisions based on established policy (federal, state and institutional); assist in assigning restricted institutional scholarships from donors and current gifts; participate in outreach activities to many different constituents to emphasize Wellesley’s commitment to access and affordability for all students.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ related experience. Experience in private college setting preferred. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and database. Demonstrated experience in team-based environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
